Waldemar Grünwald has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Waldemar started their career as a Praxisstudent at Robert Bosch GmbH, where they worked on evaluating overall equipment effectiveness and creating production documentation. Waldemar then moved on to Deset Limited, where they contributed to the development of a prototype LED video display, designing and testing electronic circuits and overseeing the production of plastic enclosures.

After that, Waldemar worked as a Werkstudent at Elektronik Atelier Liebert AG, gaining practical experience in various tasks. Waldemar then joined Hochschule Offenburg, where they served as a Laboratory Assistant, helping in the implementation of a microprocessor core and supporting students in the laboratory.

Waldemar's significant role came as a Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter at Hochschule Offenburg, where they played a major role in the development of electronics for a controllable infusion pump in collaboration with Tricumed Medizintechnik GmbH. This included specification, design, implementation, and commissioning of hardware and software, as well as the development of a transceiver ASIC for communication between the implant and the control device.

Waldemar then joined Tricumed Medizintechnik GmbH as an Entwickler, focusing on the further development and validation of software for implants and external control devices, along with various testing setups and adjustments to associated electronics.

Currently, Waldemar is working at UBIRCH GmbH as a Team Lead Embedded, leading a team in their embedded systems development.

Waldemar Grünwald's education history begins in 2003 at the Fachhochschule Offenburg - Hochschule für Technik, Wirtschaft und Medien, where they pursued a degree in Nachrichten- und Kommunikationstechnik. Waldemar completed their Diplom-Ingenieur in this field in 2008.

In 2007, they enrolled at Offenburg University of Applied Sciences to further their studies in Elektrotechnik und Informationstechnik. Waldemar successfully completed their Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) in this field in 2009.

Later in 2009, Waldemar Grünwald briefly attended Oregon State University but did not pursue a specific degree or field of study during this time.

Their educational pursuits continued at The University of Freiburg in 2011, where they embarked on a doctoral program in Mikrosystemtechnik. Waldemar is expected to complete their Doktor-Ingenieur degree at this institution in 2022.
