Julián Melo

Julián Melo is the CEO of UBITS, a position they have held since December 2017. Previously, they were a lecturer at the Universidad de los Andes from July 2012 to December 2017, where they taught courses on Introduction to Industrial Engineering, Systemic Thinking in Organizations, and Business Innovation. Julián was also a senior business consultant and conference speaker for multinational companies like The Dow Chemical Company, Pepsico, Cemex & G4S from September 2011 to February 2016. Prior to that, they were a strategy and business IT consultant for companies in the retail, finance and transport sectors from July 2009 to December 2012.

Julian Melo has a Master of Science in Engineering from Universidad de Los Andes, an executive leadership program from Harvard Business School Executive Education, a Building and Scaling Subscription Businesses from Stanford University, and is an alumni of Y Combinator from S2018. Julián also has a B. Industrial Engineering from Universidad de Los Andes in Corporate Strategy & Finance and a high school diploma from Colegio San Carlos. Julian Melo is also certified from Udacity in AI Product Manager.
