Uzair M.

Uzair M. has extensive experience in the field of information and cyber security. Uzair currently holds the position of Chief Information Security Officer at UBL Fund Managers since January 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Information Security Officer at Silkbank Limited from May 2018 to January 2022. Uzair also worked as an Information Security Manager at Bank Alfalah Limited from September 2017 to April 2018. Before that, Uzair held the position of Information and Cyber Security Specialist at Bank Al Habib Limited from January 2016 to September 2017. Uzair started their career at M. L. & Associates (pvt.) Ltd. in May 2010 as the Manager of Systems & Network Infrastructure Security, and ended their tenure in June 2014.

Uzair M. holds a Master's Degree in Networks and Computer Systems Security from the University of Greenwich, London, UK, which they obtained from 2014 to 2015. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from Sir Syed University between 2010 and 2013. Additionally, Uzair has obtained several certifications, including Project Management Professional (PMP®), ISO 27001 Lead Implementer - Information Security Certification, TOGAF® Certification Program, and others, all achieved between 2014 and 2023.
