Joy Zhou

Joy Zhou currently serves as the Vice President of Cell Therapy at uBriGene Biosciences Inc. since November 2024, where responsibilities include overseeing process development, cGMP manufacturing, and regulatory submissions. Previously, Joy was the Vice President and CMC Head at MiNK Therapeutics, focusing on building an in-house CMC organization. Prior roles include Senior Director at Rubius Therapeutics, Head of Drug Product Development at Takeda, and Technical Lead at Shire/Takeda, among others. Joy's experience spans across scientific leadership in cell therapy, biologics product development, and multidisciplinary project management, with a strong background in regulatory submissions and technical evaluations. Joy holds an MS and Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from the University of Kansas, an MS in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Mississippi, and a BS in Chemistry from Fudan University.
