Mackenzie Swenson is a legal professional currently serving as Deputy General Counsel at Belmont Park Village since May 2024. Previously, Mackenzie held various roles at the New York Islanders, starting as Associate Counsel and advancing to Vice President, Senior Counsel, and Counsel since February 2020. Concurrently, Mackenzie worked as Counsel and Associate Counsel for UBS Arena during the same period. Prior experience includes Associate Counsel positions at the San Jose Sharks and SAP Center at San Jose from January 2018 to February 2020, and an Associate role at Jackson Lewis P.C. from June 2016 to December 2017. Mackenzie began the career with a Legal Internship at BSE Global and a Legal Clerk position with The City of New York Office of Labor Relations, as well as an internship in the NHL's Legal Department. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Sports Management from Columbia University, a Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School, and a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Philosophy from Boston College.
