Axel Görlach

Axel Görlach is the Director of Digital Transformation at UBS, where they connect and consolidate people, teams, processes, systems, data, and ETL across various segments and regions. Previously, Axel served as a Project Leader for Big Data, Data Mining, and Analysis at Swisscom Directories AG, where they developed a Big Data team and implemented a Hadoop cluster. They also held roles as a Senior Project Leader at SDM GmbH & Co KG, focusing on scoring development in SAS, and as a Senior Analyst at Sky, responsible for reporting environments. Axel's foundation in data analytics began in earlier roles, including as a Senior Consultant in Big Data at Decadis AG and an assistant at Saucony. They continue their education at Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg.
