Colin Butler

Colin Butler is the UK Head of Sanctions at UBS AG, bringing over 16 years of experience in civil and commercial litigation. Previously, Colin led the EMEA Sanctions function for Credit Suisse for seven years and served as Managing Partner at Kidd Rapinet's London office for six years. A qualified solicitor, Colin holds a distinction in the ICA International Diploma in Anti-Money Laundering and is a Cedr accredited commercial mediator. Currently, Colin advises on complex transactions, leads a team, and engages with regulators while also delivering training on sanctions compliance.
