Darren Gaffney is currently the Executive Director and Americas Team Lead for Hedge Funds Credit Risk at UBS, a role they began in 2023. Prior to this, Darren held various leadership positions in credit risk, including Director of Global Markets Credit at Bank of America from 2019 to 2023, and Director of Hedge Fund Risk at both Barclays Capital and Société Générale. They also served as Vice President of Hedge Fund Risk at Société Générale from 2000 to 2006. Darren earned an MBA in Finance from NYU Stern School of Business and a degree in Engineering from Dartmouth College.
