Derrick Liu

Derrick Liu is an executive director and senior financial services leader based in APAC with over a decade of experience. They have held positions such as Associate at Bingham McCutchen LLP and General Counsel at Osborne & Partners. Most recently, Derrick serves as the Head of Client Onboarding Engagement at UBS and previously held the role of Head of Legal for APAC Equities, Research, and Global Custody at Credit Suisse from 2012 to 2023. Derrick earned a Doctor of Law (JD) from St. John's University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Cornell University.
