Joydeep Chakraborty

Joydeep Chakraborty is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in strategic leadership and investment. Currently serving as Managing Director at UBS since August 2025, Joydeep has previously held notable positions such as Chief Strategy and Investment Officer at Traveloka and Head of SE Asia TMT at UBS. Additionally, Joydeep has worked at Merrill Lynch in TMT and Corporate Finance roles, served as a consultant at Hansabay, and held a senior associate position at Nomura and RBS in investment banking. Joydeep holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science & Engineering from Jadavpur University.
