Maria Chiodi

Maria Chiodi is the Managing Director and Head of Group Functions Legal Americas at UBS. Previously, they served as Managing Director and Counsel at Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC, where they held several positions, including General Counsel for key entities and leading the cleared derivatives legal team. Maria is an active member of the FIA Law & Compliance Division Executive Committee and previously served as its President from 2010 to 2014. They chair the New York City Bar Association Futures & Derivatives Regulation Committee and are a board member of the Options Clearing Corporation. Maria is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Economics, an MBA, and a Doctor of Law degree at Fordham University.
