Michael Westphalen

Michael Westphalen is currently the Crew Product Lead for Analytics & Insights at UBS, where they oversee the global finance management reporting and analytics function. Previously, they served as the Group Head Financial Planning, Analytics and Reporting at UBS, contributing to strategic planning and the integration of Credit Suisse into UBS. Michael's extensive career includes leadership roles such as Chief Financial Officer for APAC and Managing Director of Global Wealth Management CFO, where they focused on financial resource optimization and performance analytics. They hold multiple degrees, including a Ph.D. in Finance from HEC Lausanne and a Master’s in Economics from Universität Basel. Michael began their career with an internship at Swiss Bank Corporation and has since developed a robust expertise in finance and analytics.
