Pedro Martins

Pedro Martins is a seasoned Mainframe Network Systems Programmer with extensive experience in prominent technology companies. Currently employed at UBS since May 2018, Pedro focuses on mainframe networking. Previous roles at IBM included leading technical initiatives for High Availability enablement and CPU migration projects, alongside considerable involvement in disaster recovery support and ongoing maintenance from November 2015 to April 2018. Pedro's tenure at IBM began in 1999, with significant contributions as an IT Specialist in z/OS and z/VM networking, where responsibilities included managing major outsourcing contracts and facilitating datacenter transitions. Early in the career, Pedro provided technical support for Portugal's Mainframe customers and handled problem management and escalation. Pedro holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Instituto Politécnico Autónomo.
