René Aubry

René Aubry is an experienced executive and educator, currently serving as an Executive Director at UBS, focusing on Social Impact Legal and supporting the Optimus Foundation since August 2022. Prior to this role, Aubry was the Managing Partner at Ciel Partners, LLC, from May 2013 to July 2022, helping entrepreneurs launch businesses and NGOs. Aubry also contributed as an Adjunct Professor and Practitioner-in-Residence at the CUNY-Colin Powell School for Civic and Global Leadership, teaching courses on leadership and social enterprise, and advising students. Other noteworthy positions include Managing Partner at Leopard Capital, Managing Principal at Ciel Capital Partners, and VP at Citigroup. Aubry holds an MPA from Harvard Kennedy School, an MBA from Columbia Business School, and various degrees in Political Science, Economics, and International Relations from Columbia University and Georgetown University.
