Richard Sleijpen

Richard Sleijpen is the Managing Director and Co-Head of Advisory and Capital Markets for Australia and New Zealand at UBS, where they have over 20 years of experience in investment banking advice and capital markets strategy. Their expertise includes advising major Australian and international companies across listed equity, private equity, and debt capital markets, and they have successfully led the underwriting and syndication of equity issuances exceeding A$100 billion. Richard’s previous roles include Managing Director and Head of Global Capital Markets for Australasia at UBS, as well as various positions in equity and debt capital markets. They hold a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Law from the University of Sydney and completed their high school education at The Scots College.
