Urs Schubiger is the Head of Model Risk Management and Control in Asset Management Model Validation at UBS, a position held since 2020. Previously, Urs was a Co-Founder of the Systematic Trading Group at Aquila Capital and served as CIO and Executive Board Member at 1741 Asset Management AG. With experience as a Quantitative Analyst and Portfolio Manager at UBS O'Connor, as well as leadership roles at Wegelin & Co. and Vescore, Urs has a strong background in finance and risk management. Urs holds a degree in Mathematics from ETH Zurich and a law degree from the University of Basel.
