Michael Benedicto

Michael Benedicto is a software engineer who has worked at multiple companies. Michael started their career as a programmer intern at UP NOAH in 2015. From 2016 to 2018, they worked as a computer programmer II at UP NOAH, where they improved, maintained, and developed various websites and APIs. In 2018, they joined Asia United Bank (AUB) as a programmer 4, where they created and developed backend applications for financial transactions and debit card products. Currently, they are employed at UBX as a software engineer, where they develop and maintains the backend side of the UBX Lending Platform and implements RESTful APIs for the GENIE middleware. Throughout their career, Michael has demonstrated skills in backend development, database optimization, and API development, among others.

Michael Benedicto attended the University of the Philippines Diliman from 2012 to 2018, where they received a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained certifications in "NestJS: The Complete Developer's Guide" from Udemy in May 2023 and "Automate the Boring Stuff with Python Programming" from Udemy in May 2021.
