Alexis Shusterman

Alexis Shusterman is an accomplished academic and instructor with extensive experience in chemistry and theatre performance. Currently serving as a Lecturer at the University of California, Berkeley since August 2013, Alexis designs curricula and manages laboratory procedures for undergraduate chemistry courses. Previous roles include Graduate Student Researcher, focusing on urban air pollution and atmospheric chemistry, and Graduate Student Instructor, where Alexis supervised laboratory work and delivered lectures. Additional experience includes teaching physical theatre and circus skills at Do Jump! Physical Theatre School, technical assistance for theatre productions at Brown University, and various research and intern roles related to environmental science and chemistry. Alexis holds a PhD in Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley and a B.A. in Chemistry from Brown University.
