Allison Batka

Allison Batka is a dedicated graduate student researcher at the University of California, Berkeley, under the guidance of Professor Michael Marletta since August 2020. In addition to research responsibilities, Allison served as a graduate student instructor for courses in organic chemistry and chemical biology. Prior experience includes a research assistant role at the University of Michigan, focusing on bio-inspired electrocatalysis in Professor Nicolai Lehnert's group, and leading structured study groups as an undergraduate student instructor in organic chemistry. Additionally, Allison participated in the Amgen Scholars Program at UC Berkeley, contributing to the development of innovative diagnostic tools for cancer research. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Chemistry from the University of Michigan, with ongoing doctoral studies in Chemistry at UC Berkeley.
