Amy Lerman

Amy Lerman serves as the Executive Director at Possibility Lab and the Director of Innovation for the California 100 Initiative since 2021. Lerman is also a faculty member at the University of California, Berkeley, holding the position of Michelle Schwartz Endowed Professor of Public Policy and Political Science, alongside prior roles as Associate Professor and Assistant Professor in the same fields. From 2019 to 2022, Lerman was Associate Dean at the Goldman School of Public Policy and Co-Director at The People Lab. Lerman's previous experience includes a W.E.B. Du Bois Fellowship at the National Institute of Justice and a position as Assistant Professor of Politics and Public Affairs at Princeton University. Lerman began teaching as Adjunct Faculty at Mount Tamalpais College from 2004 to 2006. Lerman holds a PhD and MA in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley, and a BA in Social Policy and Political Science from NYU Gallatin.
