Bailey Palmer

Bailey Palmer is a PhD student in the Department of Economics at the University of California, Berkeley, with prior experience as a Senior Research Specialist at Princeton University from June 2018 to July 2020. Between January 2017 and August 2017, Bailey worked as a Research and Field Assistant at the World Agroforestry Centre, where contributions included designing studies to enhance farmers’ understanding of weather-based index insurance and developing related educational materials using ArcGis and Stata. An internship with the US Department of State in early 2016 involved preparing briefing materials and coordinating with multiple stakeholders regarding the humanitarian crisis in Yemen. Bailey Palmer holds a degree in Arabic and Economics from the University of Georgia, obtained in 2018.
