Carly Tran

Carly Tran is an accomplished student and professional with a focus on data science and applied mathematics. Currently serving as a Cal Swim Data Science Intern at Cal Athletics, Carly utilizes video analysis software to enhance swimming techniques for elite athletes. In addition to this role, Carly is a Research Assistant at the University of California, Berkeley, conducting advanced data analysis for the CUORE experiment. Previous experience includes roles as a Project Manager at Unity, Data Analyst at OptiGenix, and Strategy Operations Consultant at Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A. Carly's technical skills were further developed as a Microcomputer & Robotics Intern at NASA, where an autonomous rover design was a key project. Academically, Carly is pursuing dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Applied Mathematics and Statistics at UC Berkeley, following a dual enrollment pathway at Evergreen Valley College and Accel Middle College.
