Catherine Crump is a Clinical Professor at UC Berkeley since July 2014, with previous experience as a Senior Policy Advisor for Criminal Justice at the White House Domestic Policy Council from October 2022 to June 2023. Crump spent nearly a decade at the ACLU from September 2005 to June 2014 as an Attorney, following a role as a Law Clerk in the Chambers of Judge McKeown from September 2004 to September 2005, and as a Clerk at the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals in 2004-2005. Educational qualifications include a JD from Stanford Law School (2001-2004), participation as a Fulbright scholar at Turun yliopisto (2000-2001), and a B.A. in Political Science from Stanford University (1998-2000), along with earlier studies in Government at the University of Virginia (1996-1998).
