Deepak Krishnamurthy is currently a Schmidt Science Fellow at the University of California, Berkeley since October 2021. Previously, Deepak served as a Graduate Research Assistant at Stanford University from September 2014 to January 2021, focusing on the biophysics of swimming and host-seeking in the Schistosoma parasite, while co-inventing the Scale-free vertical Tracking Microscopy platform. Deepak also acted as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for the Physical Biology of Macromolecules course at Stanford University. Early experience includes a Summer Internship at Simon Fr, where a computational model for microfluidic fuel cells was developed and validated. Deepak holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University, an MS in Engineering from the Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research, and a BE in Mechanical Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
