Dr. Marissa Nichols serves as a Course Facilitator at the Association for Talent Development (ATD) since February 2025, specializing in courses on evaluating learning impact and measuring return on investment. Concurrently, Dr. Nichols holds multiple roles at the University of California, Berkeley, including Senior Associate Athletics Director and Director of the Cameron Institute, which focuses on student-athlete development, as well as various positions within NACDA, such as an at-large member on the board of directors and faculty for professional development. Additional consulting work includes contributions at the ROI Institute and Dr. Marissa Nichols LLC. Previous experience includes leadership roles at Boston University and the University of Nevada-Las Vegas. Dr. Nichols holds a PhD in Educational Psychology and Higher Education from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, along with a Master’s in Counselor Education and a Bachelor’s in Human Services Counseling.
