Eric Yue Ma is a Co-Founder and Chief Scientific Officer at KronosAI, focusing on accelerating numerical physics simulations with AI since July 2024. As the Georgia Lee Assistant Professor of Physics and EECS at the University of California, Berkeley, since July 2021, Eric has contributed to advancements in photonics and optical communications. Previous experience includes tenures as a postdoctoral researcher at Stanford University from September 2010 to June 2021, where Eric worked on developing photonics-based bio-marker monitors and inverse-designed photonic chips. Eric also served as a senior scientist at Apple for a brief period in 2019. Eric holds a PhD in Applied Physics from Stanford University and a certificate in Innovation and Entrepreneurship from Stanford Graduate School of Business. A Bachelor of Science in Physics was earned from Peking University.
