Haley Williams is a PhD student and Chancellor’s Fellow at the University of California, Berkeley, specializing in sensor development for molten fluoride salts and conducting studies on speciation, solvation, and fluoroacidity, while also supporting electrochemical investigations of FLiBe salt since August 2019. Previously, Haley worked as an undergraduate researcher at The University of Tulsa, contributing to the Erosion/Corrosion Gen3 CSP Research Group and the Carreon Research Group on the Ammonia Synthesis project from 2016 to 2019. Additionally, Haley participated in research at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory in the Thermal Systems Group, focusing on the electrochemical purification of molten chloride salts for concentrating solar power applications. Earlier, Haley gained experience as a quality control intern at Jost Chemical Co. Education includes ongoing doctoral studies at the University of California, Berkeley and an undergraduate degree from The University of Tulsa, with an international academic experience at Université catholique de Lille.
