Jason Legrand

Jason LeGrand is an experienced fundraising professional with a proven track record in higher education. Currently serving as Senior Director of Principal Gifts and Strategic Initiatives at the University of California, Berkeley since July 2019, Jason leads major gift efforts for the top public university in the U.S. Prior roles include Senior Director of Development at UC Davis's School of Veterinary Medicine, recognized as the #1 veterinary school globally, and Director of Major Gifts for the West Region at the University of Maryland. Jason's extensive background also includes leadership positions at universities such as the University of Nevada Las Vegas, Westminster College, the University of Denver, Cornell University, and Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity. Jason holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies from Southeast Missouri State University.
