John Santerre

John Santerre, PhD, currently serves as a Research Advisor at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, providing academic advising and scientific support in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence for planetary research. In addition to this role, John holds positions as an Advisory Board Member for Big Data at Southern Methodist University and Lead Adjunct Professor there, as well as a Lecturer at the University of California, Berkeley. John is also engaged with DeepLearning.AI as Special Project Lead and recently founded and led the AI Lab at Silicon Valley Bank. Previous roles include Director of Data Science and Principal Data Scientist at SAP, Chief Data Scientist at Triggr Health, and Research Assistant at Argonne National Laboratory, with a strong focus on Machine Learning applications in genomics and data analysis. John's educational background includes a Ph.D. and M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Chicago, along with various other qualifications in different fields.
