Kurt Keutzer

Kurt Keutzer currently serves as the Chief Strategy Officer at Nexusflow since June 2023 and is a Professor at UC Berkeley since August 1997, focusing on parallel and distributed processing to enhance machine learning, with a recent emphasis on Deep Neural Networks. As an Angel Investor and Advisor since 1997, Kurt Keutzer actively invests in companies specializing in machine learning, particularly in NLP and LLM applications, and is involved with firms like Covariant and LatentAI. Previously, Kurt co-founded DeepScale, which was acquired by Tesla, and held positions as an Investor/Advisor at Coverity and as CTO and SVP of Research at Synopsys. Kurt Keutzer holds a PhD in Computer Science from Indiana University Bloomington and a BS in Mathematics from Maharishi International University.
