Mason Friedberg

Mason Friedberg is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in product design and development. Currently serving as Group Manager at the Exploratorium since July 2021, Mason leads a cross-functional team on global collaboration projects, focusing on interactive experiences through engineering analysis and prototyping. Previously, Mason held various roles at Tesla, including Sr. Mechanical Engineer in R&D Prototyping, where innovative prototyping processes were developed for multiple vehicle programs. Additional experience includes freelance product design, industrial design engineering for human-centered robotics, and advising at the University of California, Berkeley. Mason earned a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Product Design from UC Berkeley and a Bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University.
