Vikrum Aiyer currently serves as the Head of Global Public Policy & External Affairs at Heirloom since November 2022 and holds a position as a Senior Fellow at the Center for Law & Business at the University of California, Berkeley. Aiyer has been a Commissioner to the Mayor on the Workforce Investment Board in San Francisco since May 2019 and has served as a Senior Advisor at Pano AI and End Poverty in California (EPIC) until 2024. Prior roles include Deputy Director at the ACLU National Political Advocacy Department, Vice President of Global Public Policy & Strategic Communications at Postmates by Uber, and Chief of Staff to the Under Secretary of Commerce for Intellectual Property at the U.S. Department of Commerce. Aiyer also worked as a White House Senior Advisor for Manufacturing & Innovation Policy and was a Visiting Fellow at The Wharton School. Aiyer earned a BA in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley in 2006.
