Emma Torbert

Emma Torbert currently serves as the Data Manager at Indivisible Yolo since January 2024 and has been the Student Farm Market Garden Manager at the University of California, Davis, since September 2020. With extensive experience in agricultural management, Emma has also been a Farmer at The Cloverleaf at Bridgeway Farms since April 2011 and previously worked as a Post-graduate Fellow at the Agricultural Sustainability Institute at UC Davis from 2008 to December 2015. Emma's earlier roles include Garden Director at Camp Orkila in 2005 and Crew Leader at New Morning Farm in 2004, along with experience as a Research Assistant at Los Alamos National Laboratory from 2001 to 2002. Emma holds a Master of Science in Horticulture from the University of California, Davis, obtained between 2005 and 2008, and a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Princeton University, completed in 2001.
