Jay Lund is a distinguished academic with extensive experience in civil engineering and environmental studies. Since February 2018, Jay Lund has been a member of the National Academy of Engineering. At the University of California - Davis, Jay Lund has served as the Director of the Center for Watershed Sciences and holds the position of Professor and Ray B. Krone Professor of Environmental Engineering since 1987. Additionally, Jay Lund has been an Adjunct Fellow at the Public Policy Institute of California since 2008. Jay Lund's academic credentials include a PhD in Civil Engineering and a BSCE from the University of Washington, as well as an MA in Geography from the same institution, and a BA in Regional Planning and International Relations from the University of Delaware.
