Jerrold Bushberg

Faculty Member: Designated Emphasis On Nuclear Sciences Graduate Program at UC Davis

Jerrold Bushberg serves as the Senior Vice-President and Chairman of the Board at the National Council on Radiation Protection and Measurements since May 2009, and has been a Faculty Member in the Designated Emphasis on Nuclear Sciences Graduate Program at the University of California, Davis since November 1983, while also holding the position of Clinical Professor of Radiology and Radiation Oncology. Involved with the IEEE Standards Association as a member of the International Committee on Electromagnetic Safety since January 1997, Jerrold Bushberg previously held the position of President of the National Health Physics Society Nonionizing Section from June 2018 to December 2019. Jerrold Bushberg's academic background includes a PhD in Bionucleonics from Purdue University, a Fellowship in Medical Physics from Yale School of Medicine, and additional fellowships in Radiation Biology and Health/Medical Physics from the Mayo Clinic, complemented by a Master of Science in Health/Medical Physics and a Bachelor of Science in Human Physiology & Physics from U.C. Davis.
