Julianna Madigan

Julianna Madigan is an accomplished immunologist currently serving as Vice President and Event Coordinator at The Davis Alt Protein Project since June 2021, while also holding the position of Scientific Affairs Associate and previously, Immunology Intern at TurtleTree since January 2022. Julianna is a PhD candidate at the University of California, Davis, leading research on recombinant bovine lactoferrin's role in immunity and health. Prior experience includes graduate teaching assistant for the Fundamental Immunology course, and research on innate immunity and inflammation at the same university. Julianna has interned at Pfizer, engaging in oncology immunotherapy research, and has contributed to collaborative research projects internationally during an undergraduate research stint at the University of Queensland. Julianna earned a Master of Science in Immunology from the University of California, Davis and a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the University of South Carolina.
