Lydia Sandlin

Assistant Athletic Director, Compliance at UC Davis

Lydia Sandlin has been a key leader at the University of California, Davis since September 2010, serving in multiple roles including Director of Operations for Olympic Sports, Assistant Director of Marketing, and Assistant Director of Compliance Services. In these positions, Lydia has been responsible for overseeing NCAA Division I athletics compliance for numerous teams, administering financial aid for 23 intercollegiate sport teams, and managing large budgets in excess of $6 million. Lydia's contributions also extend to presenting eligibility material to student-athletes, conducting training on athletic aid policies, and reconciling department trades with significant value. Academically, Lydia holds a Master's degree in Sport Administration from Canisius University and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Education from the University of California, Davis. Prior to the current role, Lydia gained valuable experience as a Graduate Student at Canisius College and as a Student Intern at the Quincy Chamber of Commerce.
