Alvin Pico

Alvin Pico has over 20 years of work experience in the technology industry. Alvin started their career at Imagine Communications in 1997 as a Software Engineer, where they worked on various applications supporting Nexio Video Server and Nexio Newsroom systems. Alvin also designed and developed the NFL Instant Replay System (FORCE). Throughout their tenure, they collaborated closely with clients, project management, and client support to address product issues.

In 2017, Alvin joined UC Innovation as a Senior Salesforce Developer. In this role, they worked with clients in higher education, investment management, and aircraft leasing industries. Their responsibilities included requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, advanced Apex/Visualforce/Lightning development, and developing interfaces with third-party REST services. Alvin customized advancement solutions for Sales Cloud and Experience Cloud to enhance user productivity, fundraising capabilities, and alumni engagement for various universities.

Alvin Pico pursued their education in Electronics and Computer Engineering at California State Polytechnic University-Pomona from 1990 to 1996. Alvin successfully completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in this field at the aforementioned institution. In addition to their degree, Alvin obtained several certifications to further enhance their professional skills. These include the Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I certification, which they attained in August 2017 from Salesforce, and the Certified ScrumMaster certification, obtained in December 2014 from the Scrum Alliance.
