Gene Chen

Gene Chen possesses extensive experience in financial management and accounting, with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as the Financial Service/Accounting Manager at UCI Health since November 2018, Gene previously held multiple roles at CalOptima, including Supervisor of Accounting, Actuarial Analyst, and Accounting Supervisor from April 2012 to October 2018. Prior to that, Gene worked as a Recruiting Manager at Robert Half Finance & Accounting and spent over 16 years at Graphic Communications Holdings, Inc., where responsibilities included overseeing national and international accounting functions as Accounting Manager and managing accounts payable and billing teams. Gene earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from California State University, Long Beach, in 1995.
