John Luo

John Luo is a highly experienced psychiatrist and educator currently serving as the Director of Psychiatry Residency Training at the University of California, Irvine - College of Medicine and as the Director of Emergency & Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry at UCI Health. With a strong focus on education and technology in psychiatry, John has held numerous leadership roles, including President of the American Association for Technology in Psychiatry, where initiatives such as the AATP/Pfizer Informatics Fellowship were established. John has also contributed significantly to various organizations, including the American Psychiatric Association and UC Riverside School of Medicine, and has experience in medical informatics, authoring and editing works on technological advancements in the field. John holds an M.D. from The University of Texas Medical Branch and a B.S. in biochemistry from UCLA.
