Kathleen Quan

Kathleen Quan, MSN, RN, PHN, CPHQ, CIC, FAPIC, has over 20 years of specialized experience in infection prevention and quality management. Currently serving as the Manager of Infection Prevention Clinical Informatics and Analytics at UC Irvine Medical Center since August 2005, Kathleen oversees the development of IT informatics aimed at enhancing patient safety and compliance with regulatory standards. Previous roles include Infection Preventionist at UC Irvine Medical Center and St. Jude Medical Center, in addition to positions in quality management and nursing. Kathleen holds a Bachelor of Science in Physiology from UC San Diego, a Master of Science in Nursing Administration from California State University-Dominguez Hills, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Mount Saint Mary's University.
