Ann Spira

Ann Spira is the Vice Chancellor of Advancement at UC San Diego. Ann was previously the Deputy General Director at San Diego Opera from October 1983 to May 2014.

Ann Spira received their Bachelor of Arts in Music and Communications from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Ann then went on to receive their Voice Performance in Opera degree from the Indiana University School of Music.

Ann Spira reports to Pradeep K. Khosla, Chancellor. They work with Margaret S. Leinen - Vice Chancellor for Marine Sciences, Becky Petitt - Vice Chancellor for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion, and Steven R. Garfin - Interim Vice Chancellor for Health Sciences.
