April Bridges

April Bridges, CFRE, currently serves as the Sr. Director of Development for the School of Arts & Humanities at UC San Diego since October 2023. Prior to this role, April was the Director of Development at Portland Opera from April 2022 to October 2023, and Director of Development for the Pritzker School of Molecular Engineering at the University of Chicago from April 2019 to April 2022. Earlier in the career, April held the position of VP of Business Development at Kelly Scott Madison and Regional Sales Director at Carlisle Etcetera LLC, alongside various development roles at Illinois Wesleyan University, including Associate Director of Development for Major Gifts and Annual Fund. April began the professional journey as an Account Executive at USRobotics and Compaq Computer Corporation. April earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Illinois Wesleyan University from 1986 to 1990.
