Edward Wade

Edward Wade is a seasoned IT security professional with extensive experience in designing and implementing security solutions across various organizations. Currently serving as a Senior IT Security Analyst at UC San Diego since November 2020, Edward specializes in developing a SIEM framework using Splunk and providing security consulting across campus units. Previously, Edward held the position of Information Security Analyst at the San Diego Supercomputer Center, where responsibilities included threat detection, incident response, and compliance management for multiple programs. Edward's earlier roles include Security Engineer at UC Irvine and Network Security Consultant at Ensuren Corporation, demonstrating a comprehensive skill set in network security, risk management, and project leadership. Edward holds a Master's Degree in Information Systems from the University of Colorado Denver and a Certificate in Python Programming from UC San Diego Extended Studies.
