Samantha Crook

Samantha Crook is a seasoned HR professional with extensive experience in various roles within human resources and administrative functions. Currently serving as the Lead HR Generalist at UC San Diego since May 2019, Samantha provides direction and training to HR team members while actively contributing to strategic planning and process enhancements. Previous positions include Human Resources Generalist and Payroll/Personnel HR Assistant at UC San Diego, as well as roles as Human Resources Coordinator and Assistant at La Jolla Recovery. Additionally, Samantha has experience in customer service, administrative support, and retail management, with a strong educational background including a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from California State University, Fullerton, and an Associate of Science in Human Resource Management from Coastline College.
