Thorin Tabor

Thorin Tabor is a Principal Software Engineer at the University of California, San Diego, since November 2016, and a Collaborating Scientist in Computational Genomics at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard since January 2011, where responsibilities included roles as a Senior Software Engineer. Tabor leads the GenePattern Notebook project, integrating GenePattern's research capabilities with Jupyter Notebook and collaborating with the Jupyter core development team. Previous experience includes a role as a Software Engineer at Lime Brokerage LLC, focusing on the development of complex real-time web applications in a Java enterprise environment. Tabor holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Brandeis University (2006-2007) and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Brandeis University (2002-2006).
