Luc Aerts

Luc Aerts is an experienced professional in pharmaceutical development, currently serving as Head Product Material Orientation at UCB since April 2008. Aerts leads a team focused on non-clinical formulation development and solid state science. Previously, Aerts held positions such as Head Solid State and Materials Science at UCB and Principal Scientist at Syral, where responsibilities included providing solid state recommendations and supporting product development with expertise in physical chemistry. Earlier career experience includes being a Senior Product Development Scientist at Tate & Lyle and Assistant Manager Technical Lab at Kaneka Belgium NV. Aerts holds a PhD in Physical Chemistry from KU Leuven and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Universiteit Hasselt.
