Marius Witmeur is currently serving as the Global Physical Asset Manager at UCB since September 2021, where responsibilities include co-developing and deploying the global Physical Asset Management strategy and establishing methodologies for equipment lifecycle assessments. Prior to this role, Marius completed a Graduate Program in Manufacturing & Engineering as a Sterile Manufacturing Shift Supervisor, overseeing a team and ensuring compliance with GMP standards during a successful FDA audit. Marius also has experience as a Master Thesis student at Lys Medical, focusing on developing a depth measurement device for endoscopy, and as a Physicist Research and Development Intern at IBA, where work included contributing to a Python beamline simulator. Marius holds a Master's degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Ecole polytechnique de Bruxelles and has completed an exchange program at Polytechnique Montréal. Additional educational achievements include a Bachelor of Engineering from Ecole polytechnique de Bruxelles and a High School Diploma in Mathematics & Sciences.
