Stephen Mayclin

Stephen Mayclin is the Crystallography Lead at UCB, where they oversee a high-throughput macromolecular crystallography lab and facilitate drug discovery by determining protein ligand complex structures. They previously served as a group leader at Beryllium Discovery, co-leading the protein crystallography group and collaborating with various pharmaceutical clients. Stephen holds a PhD in Molecular Biophysics from New York University School of Medicine and has contributed to significant research during their time at the National Institutes of Health. Earlier in their career, they worked as an undergraduate research assistant at UC Irvine, gaining foundational experience in structural biology techniques.
