Venkat Gopalan

Venkat Gopalan is currently an advisor at UCBOS. Venkat has previously held various positions at renowned companies such as The Estée Lauder Companies Inc., SEPHORA, Walmart Labs, Nike, AT&T Mobility, and Deluxe Corporation.

Venkat Gopalan started their career in 1998 as a Project Lead and Technical Architect at TCS. Venkat then moved on to become an Architect at Target in 2000. In 2007, they became a Sr.Ecommerce Architect at Deluxe Corporation. The following year, they took on the role of Sr.Ecommerce Architect / Technology Leader at AT&T Mobility.

In 2010, Venkat Gopalan joined Nike as an Expert IT Architect for their Global Digital Commerce team. Venkat stayed with Nike until 2011 when they became a Solutions Architect / Sr. Manager at Walmart Labs. From 2012 to 2016, they worked as the Senior Director of Architecture, Devops,Engineering & Enterprise Services at SEPHORA.

In 2016, Venkat Gopalan took a sabbatical before joining The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. in December of that year as their Global Vice President of Products & Platform Engineering ( Development & Technical Operations ). Venkat held this position until April 2019 when they transitioned to their current role as an advisor at UCBOS.

Venkat Gopalan completed a Bachelor of Engineering in Manufacturing Engineering from Anna University.
